Fall Arrives!

Summer has given her final curtain and the change of the seasons is coming with all the wonderful colours she spreads out on display!

Are you recharged from summer's fun in the sun?

Is it time to reflect, choose to embrace life and learn new things?

What ever the season in life you are loved and have the power to choose to grow, heal and forgive!

Be thankful for the talents you have and don't be afraid to use them to help others.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5: 14-16.

 What we are praying for:

God, help our neighbours to face life's challenges. Grant them your guidance and the peace that your presence brings.

God help our government to solve the drug crisis and homelessness.

God, please guide our government on all levels in the decisions they must make. Grant them the wisdom and patience they need in dealing with other government leaders.

God, help people all over the world to be understanding and accepting of the indigenous people of each country. Help us to see them as equal and may they get the respect and compensation they deserve.

God, help us to learn how to live in a way that does not destroy the environment. Guide the world's governments how to clean the Earth and sustain it.

God, Please bring peace between every nation. Please help each government to work for the well being of the people of their country. Help all governments to work together to find solutions through negotiating peacefully.

 Scriptures for this season:

Isaiah 40:31. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40: 26-31. The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

Galatians 6: 9-10. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
