Happy New Year 2026!

 

Keep celebrating life every day!

 

God hears all our desires, our hopes for the future, our dreams, our thoughts about our most basic needs, our concerns about our well being and our cares for those around us. He looks at those as prayers and cares for us!

Know that you are loved! Mathew 5:5. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

What we are praying for:

 

 God, we pray that this New Year people everywhere will experience your love, your peace, and that they will have the inspiration, the resources, the courage and the strength to start their lives anew! We pray that they will not be afraid to let go of the things they have outgrown and start new ways of looking at their world and new ways of doing things. 

 

God, help our world leaders to serve in their positions with honour and righteousness. Help all governments to strive for peace and help them to solve the problems of climate change, disease, addiction and poverty.

 

Help all who are caught in an area where there is war and grant them their needs and a peaceful place to live. 

 

God, please pour out your Spirit. Fill us with your love that we may know you!

Christmas 2025!

 Keep your childlike wonder of creation and love for those around you!  

We are light! Keep showing the way in a dark world by your deeds of kindness to others!

Ephesians 5:8-10. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.  

Matthew 5:16. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

 

Jesus came to show us how to live with love to one another.

He was the light shining in the darkness, drawing all people to himself to know the light and walk in it! 

John 8:12. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

 Isn't true spirituality to love others and give of your time to help
others living on the planet? 

We were all born out of love. That is what we are and that should always be our motivation and intention in everything we do. Remember, it's not our battle to fight. We must overcome evil by doing good!

Romans 12:21. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What we are praying for:

God, forgive our selfishness and help us to live together in peace, each and every home, community, town, city, province, state and country! Lead people's hearts every where to seek you that you may fill them with your presence, and your love, so that they may know that you are real and are loving! Help us to be loving like you!

 

God, be with all those who are trapped by war or by natural disaster. Comfort and strengthen them. Save and heal them. May those displaced find refuge. May those trapped under debris be rescued quickly and safely.

God, move the hearts of the nations' leaders to seek peace with other nations and to stop all fighting. May they tend to their poor and sick and may they attend to the betterment of mankind.

God, help us to be good neighbours and reach those around us with your love!

What we are praying for:

 

God, protect our vets from violence, protect all our men and women who are serving in military here and all over the world. Bring healing to all those traumatized. May they have the medical help they need and the encouragement of others. 

God, help our government to show the First Nations the respect they deserve and to compensate them appropriately. Bring your healing to those harmed and reconciliation between the Canadian government and the First Nations and help us all to live in peace. 

God, bring peace between all nations in the world. Help the world leaders to stop fighting and work together for peaceful solutions. May all world leaders be under conviction to serve in their positions and use their power to help the poor of the world and stop destruction.

 

Scriptures and meditations:

Galatians 3:28. So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus.

John 1:5. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 

 

Romans 8: 37-39. Nothing can separate us from the love of God!  

1 John 4:7. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

October 2025, Being thankful!

 

 Let's be thankful for the friends we have and make sure we treat them well every chance we get!

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34.

Be thankful for the talents you have and don't be afraid to use them to help others.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5: 14-16.

You are unique! Encourage and enlighten others in the way only you can. 

We all want to have a good experience in life! Let's share with others to help that happen!

Psalm 139: 13-14. For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

What we are praying for: 

God, please pour out your Spirit on all people so they know you love them. Prepare their hearts to know you.

God, please help all people to love and respect each other and be thankful for the blessings they have.

God, we pray that families will be reunited, restored and their hearts filled with peace and love. We pray that those who feel alone will find peace in their hearts and find family among friends. May those who have lost loved ones feel your peace and comfort and find joy in their memories especially during the seasonal times of celebration. Help those who have suffered loss of any kind to receive your comfort that heals and your light that brings clear direction.

 

God, help our world leaders and governments to negotiate peacefully. Please help each government to work for the well being of the people of their country. Help each country to achieve peace in their streets and fairness in their government.

God, help people all over the world to be understanding and accepting of the indigenous people of each country. Help us to see them as equal and may they get the respect and compensation they deserve.

Forgive us Lord, for our selfishness and help us to choose the ways every day that will help us to draw closer to each other and become more like you.

 

 Walk with God throughout your life and let the Holy Spirit fill your heart with thankfulness towards God, 
for God is faithful no matter the circumstances and will answer your needs.

God help our government to solve the drug crisis and homelessness. 

God, please guide our government on all levels in the decisions they must make. Grant them the wisdom and patience they need in dealing with other government leaders. 

God, help us to learn how to live in a way that does not destroy the environment. Guide the world's governments how to clean the Earth and sustain it.

God, Please bring peace between every nation. Please help each government to work for the well being of the people of their country. Help all governments to work together to find solutions through negotiating peacefully.  

 

 Scriptures and meditations:

 Ecclesiastes 3. To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven. < everyone came out of love and everyone will return to that place of absolute love.>

2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 

Isaiah 40:31. but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. 

Ephesians 1:3. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

Philippians 4:13. For I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Inspire people in every neighbourhood to pray for the safety and well being of those of their community.

Help our world leaders and governments to negotiate peacefully. Help them to keep to the goal of attaining peace throughout the world.
